Founded on the official European Union’s intra- and extra trade statistics, the invisible carbon footprint of the Union’s trade activities has been determined for the first time on a monthly and annual basis.
The Intra-Extra-EU Trade Carbon Footprint database comes along with the full EU trade database, the supplemented transport mode statistics plus the corresponding product carbon emission figures for the EU Member States’ trade with each other and between each of them and their around 200 trading partner countries world wide.
